My name is Eugene Lee, a Korean-American currently based in Paris, France, working as a Sr. Developer at AKQA. My journey began in Texas, where I was born and raised, and later moved to New York City around 2009 to blend my dual passions for creative arts and programming. At the time, I dove deeply into Adobe Flash, exploring the full potential of creativity on the web. When Flash began to fade, I pivoted to JavaScript and low-level programming to continue pushing the boundaries of creative technical development.
In 2012, I relocated to Paris, where I’ve had the opportunity to elevate my craft, merging web development and creative design. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to have my work recognized, winning accolades from Awwwards, FWA, and CSS Design Awards, along with a feature in Communication Arts. My passion extends beyond development—I've always been drawn to leadership, management, and education. I've had the privilege of teaching coding courses at both Sciences Po and Beaux-Arts, inspiring the next generation of creative technologists.
Every project I work on is driven by my commitment to innovative solutions, artistry, and pushing the envelope in both design and technology.
